Toyota Isis Car Features
The Japanese are known for their small cars but they broke tradition with the Toyota Isis. The Toyota Isis was launched in 2004 and is sold only in Japan. The minivan style car has 7 seats but is still smaller than your traditional American style van at a length of 181 inches by 66 inches wide and 64 inches high. What really makes the Toyota Isis stand out though is that it has innovative sliding doors. Sliding doors themselves are not unique on minivans but the Toyota Isis has front passenger and rear passenger sliding doors which come together when they are closed. So, when both sliding doors of the Toyota Isis are open, they make a “panoramic” in which you get a great view.
Since there is no door jamb between the Toyota Isis panoramic doors, you get a huge access space. The front passenger seat of the Toyota Isis can also be folded down or completely removed. That means you can really load large objects into the Toyota Isis without trouble. The vehicle may also be more appropriate for handicap people or anyone who needs extra access on the passenger side. The driver’s side of the Toyota Isis works on the standard door jamb style though so there is not extra access on this side. Of course, it would not be appropriate to have a folding seat for the driver’s side and still have a functional vehicle! The panoramic doors on the Toyota Isis are not completely unique to this car as the Toyota Raum also has them. They were also used on the Toyota Tundra. Some of the other unique features of the Toyota Isis include G-Book service on certain models.
